SEC Football Predictions-Week of October 23

There are some exciting games to look forward to this weekend in the SEC.  I picked 4 out of 6 correctly last weekend, missing the Kentucky and Georgia wins (what was I thinking about Vandy again?)

Here is what I predict will happen this week:

Ole Miss at Arkansas

The Rebel (aka Black Bears) will be a surprise to the Hogs, but not enough to win the game.  Arkansas wins 35-24.

LSU at Auburn

The game of the week both here and nationally.  LSU has a great defense, but Auburn has a better offense.  Auburn wins in another classic 28-17.

UAB at Mississippi State

MSU will have a little hangover and will not get things going until the second half.  I predict they will pull through, 21-17.

Alabama at Tennessee

Tennessee almost pulled the upset last year and I am trying hard to not see the same thing this year.  Saban’s team will hold off the Vols, 24-17.

South Carolina at Vanderbilt

Homecoming at Vandy will provide a number of great networking opportunites, but it will not provide a victory for the Dores.  Gamecocks will win 35-17.

Georgia at Kentucky

People have made too much about the resurgence of UGA and the Cats will feast again this weekend.  UK wins at home 28-27.
