Kicked out: Broncos’ championship dreams go awry after two missed field goals | Boise State Eyepiece | Idaho Statesman

The No. 3 Broncos squandered a 17-point lead with a mistake-riddled second half and lost in overtime after consecutive missed field goals by senior kicker Kyle Brotzman.
No. 19 Nevada, which never led until the final moment, beat its nemesis 34-31 on Anthony Martinez’s 34-yard field goal. Wolf Pack fans, who had endured 10 straight losses to the Broncos, stormed the field immediately.
The Broncos exited in dazed disbelief.
